Lot: 52 Freeblown Pitcher, probably New Brooklyn Glass Works, Old Brooklyn, New Jersey, 1850-1860, Bulbous form flaring to rim and pour spout,applied solid circular foot,solid applied ear handle,delicately applied neck threading,faintly swirled lower body gadrooning. deep aquamarine, tooled rim, pontil scar, ht. 5 inches, greatest dia. 3 3/4 inches; tiny potstone in body with two 1/16 inch legs. However, the location and discovery in the vicinity of the Isabella Glassworks lend new thoughts about origin.
