Lot: 60 "Dr. J.W. Poland" Medicine Bottle, a Stoddard glasshouse, Stoddard, New Hampshire, 1860-1872. Oval with an indented arch panel at shoulder containing the embossed lettering, medium to deep olive amber, applied square collared mouth - smooth base, ht. 7 3/4 inches; (exterior high point wear). See PME pg 281, AAM pg 415 A heavy, rugged bottle. Extremely rare. With the exception of the noted wear, this bottle is in fine condition.
