Lot: 35 " The American System " Steamboat - Sheaf of Rye Historical Flask, possibly Baker and Martin, New Boston Glass Works, Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, 1820-1840. Aquamarine, sheared mouth - pontil scar, pint; (1/8 inch repaired hole in herringbone ribbing, 1 inch hairline crack at hole). GX-20a variant "B&M" in waves below steamboat and not in oval frame as in the GX-20a mold. A fine early and rare flask with a great impression.Ex Elvin Moody collection.
