Lot: 21 Pitkin Type Flask, ribbed and swirled to the right, 36 ribs, probably Pitkin Glass Works, East Hartford (Manchester) Connecticut, 1783-1830. Teardrop form, yellow olive, sheared mouth - pontil scar, 6 3/8 inches; (some exterior high point wear on lower body). This most unusual stout form appears to have been blown to all but eradicate the ribs and swirls in the lower third of the flask. Noel Tomas collection.
