Lot: 44 Miniature Handled Jug, probably New Jersey, 1820-1840. Bulbous form with solid applied handle and crimped foot, greenish aquamarine, outward rolled mouth - tubular pontil scar, ht. 3 1/4 inches; (shallow 1/4 inch chip on edge of foot). A delicate and wonderful early miniature. From a small grouping of glass collected in the 1930's in New Jersey. Estimate: $300 - $500 Minimum bid: $200 Price Realized: $351 |
