Lot: 257 Pitkin Type Flask, ribbed and swirled to the right, 16 ribs, probably Mid Atlantic region, 1800-1830. Medium yellow green, sheared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 6 1/4 inches; (heavy exterior wear and scratches, 1/4 inch chip and bruise on top edge of mouth). Similar in form and construction to MW plate 89, #8 Thick glass with a strong impression around the shoulder. Estimate: $200 - $400 Minimum bid: $100 Price Realized: $234 |
