Lot: 25 Freeblown Drinking Vessel, Europe, Alpine Region, 1800-1830. Cylindrical flaring to rim, bright medium amethyst with multicolor enamel decorations, tooled rim - pontil scar, ht. 2 5/8 inches, greatest dia. 2 3/8 inches; (shallow 1/2 inch flake on edge of base). Similar decorating techniques are noted on AG plate 223 and 224 Enamel decorations depict a bird, two crosses and flowers. Generally fine condition.
