Lot: 38 "Blue Mountain Forest / (Stag's Head)" Mineral Water Bottle, America, 1880-1890. Cylindrical, cobalt blue, tooled round collared mouth - smooth base, ht. 10 1/8 inches. Blue Mountain Forest, or Corbin's Park, is a famous animal preserve in New Hampshire. This bottle, one of three colors known, is reported to have been for serving beverages in the clubhouse at the park. Dr. Charles and Jane Aprill collection.
