Lot: 32 Pattern Molded Salt Cellar, twelve diamond pattern, possibly Stiegel's American Flint Glass Manufactory, Manheim, Pennsylvania, 1763-1774. Double ogee form bowl with short stem drawn from the same gather and applied six petalled foot, dark cobalt blue with amethyst tones, sheared rim - pontil scar, ht. 2 1/2 inches, greatest dia. 2 3/4 inches. Similar in form and construction to McK plate 23, #7 Beautiful color and strong mold impression. Fine condition. Dr. Charles and Jane Aprill collection.
