Lot: 143 Two Blown Three Mold Toilet Water Bottles, probably Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1820-1840. Cylindrical, deep amethyst and medium cobalt blue, tooled flared mouths - pontil scars, ht. with stoppers 6 3/8 inches and 6 5/8 inches. GI-7 type 2 and GI-3 type 2 Both examples retain scarce ribbed Tam O' Shanter stoppers. Great rich colors. Fine condition. Estimate: $300 - $600 Minimum bid: $150 Price Realized: $468 |
