37 Pitkin Type Flask, 36 ribs swirled to the left, probably Pitkin Glass Works, Manchester, Connecticut. 1783-1830. Light yellowish olive, sheared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 5 inches.
Wonderful condition. Clean, brilliant bottle. Ex William Pollard collection.

Rectangular with beveled corners, brilliant medium yellow olive, short applied sloping coollared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 5 1/2 inches; (appears to be professionally cleaned to original luster, two tiny flakes on the base under the word price).
R/H #M112    Beautiful color. Strong embossing. Good early bitters bottle.

Early, unusual and handsome.

The magnum is rare. Both in excellent attic condition. Both examples are Ex. Colonial Williamsburg collection with their invoice numbers painted on base.
