25 Concentric Ring Eagle - "N G / Co." Historical Flask, probably New England Glass Works, Cambridge, Massachusetts. 1820-1830. Flattened canteen shape with concentric rings around eagle and lettering, brilliant medium yellow green with an amber mouth and neck, tooled collared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 7 inches, greatest dia. 6 1/4 inches, pint.
An unlisted variant we are calling GII-77a. This example is exactly 1 pint    Great condition. Unusual and beautiful color. Extremely rare mold. Finest possible example.

26 Pattern Molded Globular Bottle, 24 ribs swirled to the left, Zanesville Glass Works, Zanesville, Ohio. 1820-1840. Brilliant light yellow amber, almost topaz, outward rolled mouth - pontil scar, ht. 7 inches, greatest dia. 5 1/2 inches; (some minor exterior highpoint wear around the largest diameter of the bottle).
Form similar to MW plate 96 #2    Beautiful colored example with a squatty appearance. Fine condition.

27 Phrenology Head Inkwell, probably Bennington, Vermont. 1840-1870. In the form of a human head and shoulders on a rectangular block, weakly impressed, "By F. Bridges, Phrenologist" on the front base panel, white graniteware with black and blue markings, ht. 5 3/8 inches; (3/8 inch flat glaze chip on the base at the rear of the rectangular base).
Similar to C#1602    Rare and unususual.

28 Small Glazed Pottery Bennington Pitcher, Lyman Fenton & Company, Bennington, Vermont. circa 1849. Fancy eight sided form, tan, brown and blue glazes, ht. 6 1/2 inches, base dia. 3 1/2 inches; (chip on one rib has been glazed over during manufacture).
Impressed mark reads, "Lyman Fenton & Co/ Fenton's / Enamel / Patented / 1849 / Bennington Vt ". Ex Richard Carter Barrett collection. A hand written letter accompanies this lot..

A great example of a Zanesville club bottle in good color.
