Dyottville Glass Works, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 1840-1860. Cobalt blue, sheared mouth - pontil scar, half pint; (three 1/8 inch shallow flakes from the base which may have been created by the punty rod removal, some exterior highpoint wear). GI-59 This example is the fourth known example of this bottle in cobalt blue. It was dug by a bulldozer operator 35 years ago when he was clearing farm land on the eastern shore of Maryland.
