49 Freeblown Jar, America, probably New York State. 1820-1840. Cylindrical, slightly conical, aquamarine, sheared and tooled mouth - pontil scar, ht. 6 inches, greatest dia. 5 inches; (some minor haze and scratches).
Beautiful early small jar, probably utilized a tin lid or a cork for a closure.

50 Blown Three Mold Salt Cellar, Keene Marlboro Street Glassworks, Keene, New Hampshire. 1820-1840. Bulbous bowl with inward rolled flared mouth and circular base drawn from the same gather, amethyst, tooled inward rolled flared mouth - pontil scar with sixteen diamond base pattern, ht. 1 7/8 inches, bowl dia. 2 5/8 inches, base dia. 2 1/2 inches.
GII-21    Made from an ink mold. Perfect, beautiful and extremely rare. Ex Richard Sheaf collection.

54 Fancy Scent Bottle, America. 1820-1850. Shield form with sunburst design, cobalt blue, sheared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 2 5/8 inches; (as is often usual, the chip from the pontil is larger than it needs to be).
Similar to MW plate 105, #5    Beautiful color, strong design, fine condition. Ex Arthur Barrus collection.

55 Small Freeblown Bowl, New England. 1820-1860. Simple cylindrical form flared to the rim, medium yellow amber with an olive tone, sheared rim - pontil scar, ht. 2 5/8 inches, rim dia. 4 1/8 inches; (3 1/2 inch crack starting at the rim, going straight down one side and into the pontil. Probably started as a pontil crack since the pontil is very thin and irregular).
A fine piece of New England tableware, though badly damaged. Ex Culbertson collection.

56 Wm. Underwood/& Co.-Boston Pickle Jar, America. 1845-1860. Generally cylindrical with seven large vertical lobes on the body and 16 flutes on the shoulder, medium blue green, tooled outward rolled - iron pontil mark, ht. 11 1/2 inches.
A big, colorful, beautiful jar in fine condition.

Similar to T#C1B with the large letters, but they do not touch the mold seams    Beautiful early mineral water bottle in fine condition.

Bulbous body with a flared rim and pour spout, applied solid glass handle with simple rigaree, a Lockport blue color, flat circular applied base with pontil scar, ht. 5 inches, greatest dia. 3 1/2 inches, base dia, 2 3/4 inches; (1/2 inch crack at upper handle attachment).
Beautiful, well executed creamer, brillant metal and exceptional quality. A Skinner purchase.

60 L. Kossuth With Embossed Bust Fancy Cologne Bottle, America. 1850-1860. Scroll form with fancy designs and the portrait of Kossuth, aquamarine, tooled inward rolled mouth - pontil scar, ht. 5 3/4 inches.
MW plate 108 #6    This bottle commemorates the Hungarian patriot's visit to the United States in 1851. Extremely rare with perhaps six examples known. The only known historically related cologne bottle.
