LOT DESCRIPTION ITEM
1 Scroll Flask, possibly Louisville Glassworks, Louisville, Kentucky. 1845-1860. Cobalt blue, sheared mouth - pontil scar, pint; (1/2 inch vertical neck fissure, 1/8 inch shallow flake from the base).
Probably GIX-19    Beautiful color. Fissure is very difficult to see; displays as perfect.

2 Pitkin Type Flask, ribbed and swirled to left, thirty-six ribs, Midwest America. 1810-1830. Brilliant root beer amber, sheared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 5 3/4 inches, greatest width 4 1/2 inches.
Similar in form to MW Plate 89 #7    A rarity in a Midwestern flask. Fine strong pattern, fine condition.

3 Sunburst Flask, probably Baltimore Glass Works, Baltimore, Maryland. 1820-1830. Brilliant light yellow green, tooled mouth - pontil scar, pint; (two 3/4 inch cracks on the rays of one side, some exterior highpoint wear).
GVIII-26    Great color, displays as perfect from one side.

4 Scroll Flask, probably Pittsburgh district, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 1845-1860. Modified corseted shape, brilliant deep aquamarine, sheared mouth - iron pontil mark, pint; (some very minor exterior highpoint wear).
GIX-44    Good strong example with better than average color and strong embossing.

5 "Gilbert's / Sarsaparilla / Bitters / N. A. Gilbert & Co / Enosburgh Falls VT" Bottle, America. 1860-1880. Tall octagonal form with large panel on reverse for label, golden amber, deeper color in the neck and mouth than in the body, applied square collared mouth - smooth base, ht. 8 5/8 inches; (some light interior haze, much of which will wash out).

Cylindrical, yellow and light yellowish green, applied sloping collared mouths with rings - smooth bases, quarts; (yellow example has 1/4 inch flake from the base of the sloping collared mouth and 1/2 inch partial bubble burst at base, yellow green example has some minor interior haze spots).

7 Eagle - "Willington / Glass Co" Historical Flask, Willington Glass Works, West Willington, Connecticut. 1840-1860. Yellowish forest green, sheared mouth - pontil scar, pint; (the lower portion of the embossing on the lettered side is weak).
GII-64    A fine example with an amber streak of glass running from the neck down through the eagle to the oval. Interesting and beautiful.

Plump pocket bottle forms, brilliant amethyst and sapphire blue, sheared mouths - pontil scars, ht. 6 inches and 6 5/8 inches; (blue example has manufacturer's extra glass applied to side of bottle).
Brilliant, beautiful Larson bottles.

Cylindrical, yellow olive and emerald green, sloping collared mouths with rings - smooth bases, quarts; (yellow olive example has 3/8 inch deep chip or bubble burst on the top of the mouth and 3/8 inch sand grain bruise on shoulder, green example has three 1/8 inch shallow flakes from the side of mouth).
