America. 1860-1880. Cylindrical, yellow amber with an olive tone, applied sloping collared mouth with ring - smooth base, quart; (an unearthed example, two cracks in the neck starting from the mouth, one of which is two inches long, the other about an inch in length, stained on the neck and mouth and the very bottom of the base).
