17 Freeblown Sugar Bowl, possibly early Pittsburgh district, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 1820-1850. Cylindrical bulbous form with applied circular foot and galleried rim with matching cover, cobalt blue, sheared rim - pontil scar, height 5 3/4 inches, greatest diameter 4 1/8 inches; (1/8 inch shallow chip from the top of the galleried rim).
Beautiful color, handsome form.
