1 "W. Chilton & Co / Romaine's / Crimean / Bitters" Figural Bottle, America. 1860-1880. Square modified cabin form with columnar corners, yellow amber, applied sloping collared mouth - smooth base, ht. 10 1/8 inches; (1/4 by 1/8 inch gouge on the neck just below the sloping collar appears to be a manufacturer's tool mark, otherwise brilliant and perfect).

Shallow bowl with inward rolled rim and pedestal of the same ribbed gather, misshapen circular base, cobalt blue, inward rolled rim - pontil scar, height 4 1/4 inches, greatest diameter 5 3/4 inches.
Beautiful color, fine form, great condition.

7 Large Covered Fancy Storage Vessel, America, probably early Pittsburgh district, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 1830-1850. Cylindrical bowl with twelve panels at the base attached to a circular foot with a hollow stem and a nine fluted patterned cover with applied knopf stem, colorless, sheared and tooled mouth with a period cover - pontil scar, overall height 15 inches, greatest body diameter 6 5/8 inches, base foot diameter 4 5/8 inches.
Fine condition. Fancy early tableware piece.

Similar to Milk Bottle Manual, Gordon A. Taylor, 1972, page #41    Rarely is this early milk bottle found with a complete closure.

Similar to C#136, though somewhat larger    This most unusual large blue ink is an example that we have not seen before, both in size and in color.
