1 Large Utility or Gin Bottle, possibly America. 1780-1820. Freeblown paddled square form, dense olive amber, heavy applied sloping collared mouth - pontil scar, height 17 1/2 inches, width 6 1/4 inches, depth 6 1/4 inches; (some minor exterior high point wear, particularly around the four sides of the base).
An early crude utility bottle.

2 Two Freeblown Tableware Items, a milk pan and a storage jar, probably South Jersey. 1820-1850. Widely flared cylindrical milk pan and cylindrical storage jar, greenish aquamarine, outward rolled and flared mouths - ground pontil scar and open pontil scar, milk pan diameter 12 1/2 inches, storage jar height 8 inches; (utilitarian high point wear, storage jar has an interior open bubble with old residue).
Great early freeblown items.

5 Important Large Master Ink Bottle, America. 1845-1860. Twelve sided form with twelve flutes at the shoulder, dense olive green, applied mouth with pour spout - iron pontil mark, height 12 inches, base diameter 6 inches (1 gallon); (1/2 shallow flake from the base at one corner of one panel).
Exact example noted in Covill #781    The only example known in this size. A beautiful big bottle. Ex William Covill collection, ex Charles Moore collection, ex Roger Long collection.

8 "Liberty/ (American Eagle)" Decanter, America. 1820-1840. Straight sided decanter form with vertically ribbed dip mold base, engraved lettering and eagle with shield, wheat engraved decoration on the reverse, colorless, flared mouth with two neck rings and period stopper - overall height 10 1/2 inches.
A great rarity in American glass.

11 "Herkules Bitter/ l Quart" Bitters Bottle, probably America. 1870-1890. Globular ball form with two flattened panels, emerald green, tooled mouth with ring - smooth base, height 7 1/4 inches.
R/H #H98    This example has a full label on reverse and a partial shoulder label reading "Reg. U. S. Pat. Office". A fine example of this bottle and one that is not ordinarily found with a label.
