13 Early Spirits Bottle, Netherlands. 1740-1760. Squat form with plain applied seal, yellow green, sheared mouth with string rim - pontil scar, ht. 6 1/2 inches, greatest dia. 5 1/2 inches; (exterior wear, 3/16 inch shallow chip from the base of the applied seal).
Form similar to RD page 128 figure A    We have seen three or four sealed Dutch squats and consider them to be extremely rare, as does Roger Dumbrell.

14 Two Historical Flasks, soldier - Dancer and "Spring Garden / Glassworks" And Anchor - Cabin Baltimore Glass Works,, 1845-1870. Light blue green and aquamarine, applied and sheared mouths - smooth base and pontil scar, pint and half pint.
GXIII-12 and GXIII-60    Both bottles are in fine condition, brilliant glass and bubbly and whittled appearances.

Yellow olive with an amber tone particularly in the neck and base, sheared mouth - pontil scar, half pint; (exterior highpoint wear, particularly on the bust of Lafayette and the high points of Liberty Cap and Pole).

19 Fancy Cologne Bottle, probably Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, Massachusetts. 1840-1860. Hourglass form with colorless knopf stem and applied circular base, numerous fancy vertical ribbons of rigaree extend from the base of the bowl to the collar of the piece, bowl is colorless with profuse white loopings and sapphire rimmed mouth, tooled mouth - pontil scar, ht. 6 1/8 inches, greatest dia. 2 3/4 inches.
A superb piece of glass done by an advanced glassblower showing the many techniques available to someone who had great experience. An exceptional piece.

Rectangular with wide beveled corners, medium olive amber with a distinct yellow tone, applied sloping collared mouth - tubular pontil scar, ht. 8 inches, wdth. 3 1/4 inches, dpth. 2 1/4 inches; (1/8 inch shallow flake at the base of one beveled corner).
Similar to N# 622; Keene & Stoddard Glass, Lane & Pappas, plate 12 row 4 #6    A rare, early, crude medicine with only a few examples known.
